Azizol Abu Haniffah was a midfielder with Perak FA in Malaysia. He played with the national team in FIFA World Cup qualification, SEA Games, Merdeka Tournament and Asian Games. Azizol was considered among the country's most creative midfielder. In 1990, he help Perak FA to win the first competition of Malaysia FA Cup by beating Selangor FA 4-2.
In 1991, he was even selected as one of the Asian Team of the Year First XI by AFC. Sadly, his career ended in the 1994 season. Azizol is currently working as a Sports Officer and Team Coach for Perodua FC in Rawang, Selangor. Perodua FC is part of Selangor's domestic league. He did get a few offer to play in certain football club but he turned all down to concentrate more on his family. His life now is stable and happy living with them.
His first daughter now is in a local university located in Melaka and his second daughter is in a local college in Kuala Lumpur. His last daughter is still living with him and his lovely wife.
